Fun filled night!!

So tonight our friends phillip and crystal came over for dinner since they are leaving for SC on monday. We are so excited to see what God has instore for them but will be very sad to see them go, especially macie, she loves her aunt crystal:) It's been awesome having them around to hang out and be crazy with. Crystal has become such a close friend that I can't imagine not talking to her a bazillion times a day on the phone, sharing interesting stories, and yes the infamous targetto shoping sprees which macie dreads each time. But God calls us to different places and paths sometimes in life but I know our friendship will last forever and someday we will be old and wrinkeld talking about the latest support hose:) or the best denture cream..haha. Anyways, after dinner we decided to carve some pumpkins which was hilarious, my so called cat looks so mangled you can barely tell what it is. But i have to say phillip and crystal did a great job with theirs besides the wobbly stem and one eye;) haha. And we cant forget what yummy pumpkin seeds we had i swear i am going to go out and buy 5 more pumpkins before halloween is over just to make more seeds, i told scott we should stock up since you can only have them once a year:) haha. well thats all for now i am beat and off to bed. Have a great week everyone!!!

OSU Game!!!!

I know i know its been awhile since i have updated this thing but i am just super busy and with dial up it takes forever to do anything on the internet which is irritating thats for sure!!! So scott has been teaching at bucyrus and coaching football for about three or so weeks now. He loves it i know its been stressful and definitely an adjustment but he really feels that where God wants him and its just comforting to know that we are always taken care of if when we can't see the answers always God has a plan. I just keep thinking back to a few months ago when i know there were not only alot of uncertainties in our lives, but also in kirk and amanda's and cara's. We didnt know what jobs were going to come our ways and where we were going to be living...but God provided for each of us. We all have houses, jobs, and more than we could need:)

So this past weekend we went to kirk and aj's for the osu vs texas game which was a blast. we had so much fun eating tacos and chocolate pie...and just hanging out. we always have such a good time with them and of course macie loves playing with brady and bethy.....In honor of the osu vs texas game we took a family pic of scott, macie and I because we have one from last year of us in our buckeyes gear during the same football game...its just amazing to see how much macie has changed and grown and even the differences in scott and I....I am just blown away that its been an entire year already, man time sure flies by.

Last year during the game:

This year during the game:

Well another busy week ahead and then mosaic starts saturday night which i am excited about and then scott and I get an evening alone to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary a couple weeks agon...have a great week everyone!!!

Time to play catch up !!!

First off let me say macie is feeling much better and starting to get back to her old self, turns out she had tonsilittis so we have been giving her antibiotics for the past couple days. Wow i can't believe its been almost and entire month since we have updated this thing. Since then so much has happened that i dont even know where to begin. Scott has been coaching football for 8th grade at bucyrus high school and is anxiously awaiting the start of school here in just a few more weeks. I have been busy around the house trying to keep up with things and working 1 or 2 days a week. The biggest task for me these days is trying to keep up with macie little miss busy body as she crawls everywhere and gets into everything. I can't believe it but in a few weeks she is going to be 1 years old, wow time flies. I had to run to walmart this morning to grab a gate to try and contain her... a little anyways. I tell you she may be small but she is very destructive in a short amount of time if you aren't keeping a very close eye on her. She has also heard the word no ALOT!!!lately not that she listens to it but she definitely has heard it. I think we are definitely going to have our hands full especially because she will watch scott and I out of the corner of her eye as she is getting into something that she isnt supposed too, and as soon as we say no she will stop turn around, look at us and then as soon as we turn our heads she will do it again very sneaky like. Look at this face doesnt she look ornery as heck!!!

Also the past week she has disovered boomers water dish. So whenever we cant find her we know just where to look.....

Well i think thats all for now i am going to get some stuff done around the house and get ready for work tonight. I have a couple weddings tomorrow and scott has softball tournaments all day so its going to be a busy one. Have a great weekend!!!

Right now scott is gone alot with work and football practice...and maice is not feeling well today and running a temp of 103.7. hopefully we will get her to the dr. tomorrow and get her to feel a little better soon. updates to come hopefully soon, keep us in your prayers right now!!!

Roscoe Village

On Saturday we spent the day at Roscoe village with the cameron family.v There was me, scott, macie, kirk, amanda, brady, bethy, ron, ginny, cara and aunt bonnie. It was so hot out i could hardly believe it but vother than that the weather was great for the day. We spent the day looking at different little shops and things and also watching a civil war reenactment although amanda and I had to take the little ones inside the bakery because the cannons and guns were way to loud for their ears. Bonnie bought the girls these adorable lttle bonnett's and brady a little toy. I love macie's hat it goes perfect with her blue eyes and she just looks so cute in it, all the ladies at church today were going nuts over it:)

thanks aunt bonnie. After that we went to bob evans for dinner which was really yummy. By then the girls were pooped though and ready to konk out which they did on the way home. It was a fun day though I really enjoyed getting to hang out with everyone especially aunt bonnie who we dont get to see too often since she lives in Indiana. I also really like riding with Kirk and amanda and just talking and hanging out with them:) thanks for a great day everyone....we are looking forward to the family reunion next weekend!!!

She's on the move:)

So its been about a month and a half now that we have been trying to get macie to crawl but after trying and trying we didnt seem to be getting anywhere. She would try to crawl or drag her legs behind her i should say but most of the time she would be going backwards. We bought her toys to put on the floor that move and thought maybe that would encourage her to go after it but nope, we would get on the floor with her and try to bend her knees up to help her and nope that didnt work either. But friends I am hear to say that on tuesday july 11th macie finally started crawling and it was awesome. I actually teared up a little like a big dork because i realized what a big girl she is becoming and its hard to believe how quickly time has gone. So we are very proud our little macie is now crawling and getting into everything i should add;)

She's got skills; well kinda anyways:)

So recently macie has been trying harder than ever to feed herself like a big girl. Just last saturday i sat down to eat a salad and layed macie on the floor with her bottle to hold herself and after a few minutes i kept hearing her giggle at something. I thought oh she must be laughing at the dog because she does that all the time, so i didnt think anything else about it and then after a few more minutes i realized she was still cracking up at something. So i get up and go down to the floor where she way laying and this is what i find:

She wasnt feeding herself she was being a big goof and just playing with her bottle. I was dying laughing i couldnt believe how much formula she had gotten all over her face. It was all over her eyelids and in her hair it looked like she had dots all over her:) oh man what a crazy kid.

Other than that little incident she has been doing pretty well. She loves eating yougurt for breakfast every morning and she is getting pretty good at holding french fries and crackers. We are still working on getting her to drink her formula from a sippy cup which has been tough but i think its going better now.

Busy Weekend!!!

Wow what an amazing but extremely busy weekend!!! Friday night I worked while scott and macie hung out for the evening and did some things around the house. Saturday i slept for a few hours, macie went to her grandma stone's for the day and scott worked. The we had to be at the church at 3:30 to practice for mosaic before the cookout started at 5:00. I am so overjoyed at the turnout we had on saturday it was amazing. I am not sure exactly how many we had but it was exciting to see them have to bring out more tables for all the people we had:) After mosaic scott and I came home and hung out with his friend unger whom he roomed with in college. Thanks for coming down unger we always enjoy having you:). I decided to go to bed a little early however and scott stayed up and made bottles and cleaned up the house bless his heart:) On Sunady we got up early for church since we had to be there by 8:00 to get ready for the service. Scott and I were talking last night about how neat it was to see the reactions of the congregation to the mosaic team leading the worship and also to the message pastor powell preached. I really could see some lives changed. I also realized during that service that personally lately i have allowed myself to become somewhat complacent in my faith and i know in scott and I's marriage and also as parents to macie....i am just really looking forward to walking away from there and pressing even harder to be where God wants me to be in that first chair comepletely in love with Him.

Sunday evening scott and I took swimming at linda and vanessa's house which was really nice of them to let us come over:) thanks guys. Macie absolutely loves the water she is like a little fish. She just splashes and splashes away forever.

We are all tuckered out now after such a long weekend but ready to tackle another week of who knows what;)

We would love to have as many people come out and worship this weekend with us. We have such a great time and its and hour that I really look forward to spending with the Lord. Hope to see you there!!!!

Take me out to the ballgame!!!

Yesterday macie and I hung out for the day and went shopping for a new outfit to wear to church on sunday morning. After daddy got home from work at 5:30 we went to the ball park to watch his church softball game. Macie and I sat in the shade, ate stale cheestos we found in the diaper bag from who knows how long ago, and cheered our main man on;) The Naz appostles won by 1 point after a close game against peace community church. Good job daddy we are very proud of you:)

After we got home scott tried to weed the forest next door to our house since the people that used to live there moved and nobody has been mowing it. It took him awhile to try and get it cut down enough so that he could mow over the rest. It ended up being so much work on his part but we had to do it because we were starting to get ticks and funky looking bugs in our yard from all the weeds:( Macie and I were a huge help as you can imagine;) i just worked on watering the flowers while macie watched baby einstein and tried to tear our house apart, so i had to bring her outside with us. We finally got dinner around 9:00 and then watched the rest of king arthur on t.v. and went to bed early for once.

Oh by the way macie loves her ball popper now she was cracking up at it yesterday for like a half hour...so mission accomplished!!!

Macie's First 4th of July

I can't believe how big macie is getting and to top it off she celebrated her first 4th of july yesterday. Macie wore her red, white and blue outfit that mommy and great grandma delores bought for her last year at this time when she hadnt even been born yet. We had a great day hanging out with friends, and can't wait for scott to get home tonight:)

A day at the Marion Fair:)

So monday afternoon macie, stephanie, crystal and I all went to the fair for a few hours to get some grub and boy did we eat. We were cracking up at stephanie because by time we got our food she was finished with her corndog and ready to move on to the next food stand:) We had hot dogs, corndogs, gyros, lemonade, and caramel covered fruit;) The food was so good I almost want to go back today and get more:) Then we had an almost fatal incident with an angry pig. After we ate we decided to walk through the pig barn to try and find a pig of one of the youth group kids that crystal and her husband have at church. Well i dont think we found his pig but we sure did find a pig, an angry one that is. It was out of its cage and they were tryiing to lead it back in and it was so mad it started squealing and making all these funny noises and then it came towards us which we were freaking out about, but it was kind of funny to see us 3 city slickers as scott calls it just all grossed out and scared over a bunch of pigs that smelled really bad, oh dear i dont think we will be doing that again anytime soon.

Poor macie was knocked out asleep right after we got there and missed almost the whole thing.
She finally woke up at that end and i gave her some cotton candy which she loved.

So other than eating we just walked around and got some good pics, especailly the one of crystal and the marion mayhem mascott that she begged us to take:).haha, j/k.

After that we came home and macie and I chilled for a few hours and then spent a few hours hanging out at phillip and crystals house. I definitely miss my scottie bo boddie and can't wait for him to come home wednesday night:)

A Huge Prayer has been answered:)

We just wanted to let everyone know that scott recieved a phone call today from bucyrus high school in which they offered him a teaching position for next school year. Its only about 20-25 minutes away so we are going to be able to stay in the house we are living in now which is a huge blessing:) I also will be going contingent at work so that I can stay home with macie and focus more time on raising our daughter and being more available for scott since he will also be coaching football and could be gone long hours, however its still up in the air exactly what team he will be working with middle school, jv, or varsity so we will see. This is a huge answer to prayer in many ways. We are so thankful for all of your prayers during this time. God is always faithful!!!!

Cheetos Monster!!!

Yesterday for dinner I grabbed a sandwhich and bag of chips from subway for dinner. So as I was trying to eat my dinner macie kept trying to steal my cheetos out of my hands. She had never had cheetos before so I thought what the heck I will give her one and see how she does...I could not stop laughing for the longest time because not only did she love the cheetos but she was orange from head to toe after eating them. Needless to say we found a new finger food that we can take with us when we go places now, I guess we will just have to make sure we have a bib and extra outfit on hand also. Who needs the cookie monster when we have macie the chubby cheeked cheetos monster:)

Running crazy....

What does running crazy mean? well if you had been in my shoes the last couple days you would see exactly what i mean. For being the beginning of the week its been nuts. Yesterday macie and I left the house around 11 a.m. and didnt get home and settled until after 11:30 last night, it was definitely a full day. My sister stephanie is in the hospital so macie and I have been trying our best to spend as much time there with her as we possibly can since I know from experience how lonely it gets being there for days. I also had a dr's appt. yesterday which wasnt nothing to unexpected, i have to go see a cardiologist tomorrow morning to set up some testing with riverside hospital in columbus to see what is causing my heart to beat so fast at times. After that macie and I went back to the hopsital to visit until around 7:30 or so. On the way home we stopped by family video and visited scott for a few minutes and then grabbed a sandwhich for dinner. After i got home and ate dina wanted us to come over for a bit so we went over there and hung out with dina her daugher alex, candis and her two kids kendra and jamal.

We had a good time and got lots of laughs out of our visit especially watching dina k try to dance. By time we got home it was after 11:30 so i got macie to bed and then cleaned the house up a bit and made dinner for scott since he had to work till 1:00 a.m. When it was all said and done we got to bed around 2:00 a.m. Man what a busy day. And that wasnt even the worst of it we wont get into the walmart issue oh dear it was a disaster...

Today hasnt been any slower thus far. Early this afternoon I ran steph some lunch since she is now onto solid foods:) which is definitely a good sign. Then i came home grabbed macie and ran back to the hospital for a few more hours. Macie has been so exhausted from such a busy weekend and past couple of days that when we were at the hospital today she was asleep hardcore for prolly and hour or so in the recliner:)

So we really havent done much but just alot of little stuff non stop for two days. Scott's interview with bucyrus seemed to have went well on monday he thinks so we will see what happens with that, but we are really praying that this will be it. The good thing is that they are wanting to hire someone on thursday so we will know either way by the end of this week which is a huge relief. Keep praying for us as we continue to be patience and wait for God's timing and choice when it comes to a job for us:)

Steph is going to be having a lot of visitors tonight so i think macie and i are going to stay home for the evening and relax and get some things done around the house. Its back to work for me tomorrow and thursday so we prolly wont put anymore updates on till the weekend:) Have a great rest of the week!!!

A weekend for family:)

Saturday...

Ok i know i kinda already posted for saturday but here is a little more of what went on since it was such a great weekend. Saturday afternoon macie and I went over to my moms house for a few hours and went swimming. It was so much fun and i got to see some family that i dont get to see too often. My aunt jen, unlce kevin and cousins brad and derek were over there swimming also and so its was nice to spend time with them since they live out of town now and we dont get to see them too often. I took macie in the pool for about 15 minutes or so and at first she really liked it then after awhile she was done and wanted to get out. So after sitting in the sun for a bit i decided to get back in and play with my cousins who are just little guys and man did they wear me out. We played marco, polo. Water tag and of course i had to toss them into the air a hundred times..but it sure did take me back to the days when my sisters and i would play in the pool for hours:) i miss those days sometimes. After we left there macie and I ran to walmart to pick up some last minute things for out of town. When we got home from the store it was about 4:15 and macie had been acting pretty irritable for about and hour or so and I thought it was just her teeth bothering her because they do that often. However, when i took off her sandal her pinky toe was bent completely sideways all red and swollen. So being the mom i am i freaked out and called scott at work in tears thinking i did something wrong and broke our babies toe. He rushed home from work and we took her to the E.R. The doc says it doesnt look broken just maybe irritated from the type of shoes they are so we are supposed to let her little tootsies air out for a few days and start her on antibiotics if it gets worse, but it seems almost completely fine now so i think she is going to be alright. I was telling scott how ironic it is that I can work at the hospital and take care of, and see all kinds of funky things but when it came to our baby i completely flipped out:)...haha, i guess that comes with the territory of being a mom. So needless to say after all was said and done we got to mt. vernon around 8:15 or so, ate some pizza, talked with cara for a bit and went to bed.

Sunday....

What an awesome day today was. Scott, macie and I along with the cameron family and Birch family all went to Cornerstone Chapel for church to see brady and bethy dedicated today. I had so much fun and really enjoyed the service. I had never been to a four square church before and didnt really know what to expect but I honestly felt very moved and overjoyed during the service. It was very upbeat and the message was very clear and to the point but so relevant to our everyday lives that I really felt I walked away this morning with things I will use and remember on a day to day basis. Some things that stand out in my mind were the people with the flags during the worship. At first i didnt know what to think but the more i got into the service the more I really understood the purpose of them. I think we all worship in different ways and its neat to see those differences. After the service we went to the roadhouse for lunch which was yummy. This also gave us time to sit down and enjoy each others company. Now we just have some unpacking to get done and things to prepare for this week.

We are so proud of you kirk, and amanda for being such great parents and for truely leading brady and bethy in such a Godly example. I know you both try your hardest to be the best parents you possibly can and I admire all that you do, day in and day out and all that you put forth to raise such great kids. We are also blessed to be apart of your lives and to see brady and bethy grow and learn new things each day and to develop their own personalities that I am sure the world will be blown away by. We love you guys and want you to know we are here for you always, and look forward to many memories together:)

Last but not least, Scott has a job interview tomorrow morning that we ask all of your prayers for. Things havent worked out for us thus far in this area but we are trusting that God knows whats best for us. Its funny because sometimes when we have something big coming up such as a dr. appt. or a special event or what not i will jump ahead and read the devotional for that day and just compare it to what I may be feeling or thinking in those moments to come and last night i did this. I looked ahead in a devotional book to monday and couldnt help but read "Sometimes life demands that we weather a storm. At other times it puts us to the test of tedium. We may feel stuck. What we want most is just out of reach. Buth whether we find ourselves in a crisis of circumstance or in a place where the spiritual wind has been taken out of our sails, we need to trust God for guidance. The Lord, who is sovereign over changing circumstances, will eventually guide us to our desired haven." I shared this with scott and it really made us feel that although we have said over and over that we trust God with this situation I think sometimes we dont really stop and believe it, but we were reminded that God IS with us and He knows better than we do about what is right for our lives. All He asks of us is to trust Him and He will make a way.

Mommy and Macie's night in....

So last night scott had to work all evening from 5-close so that meant macie and I got to spend a girls night together. We had so much fun and I really enjoyed the alone time i got to spend with my little girl. I love doing stuff as a family but sometimes you just need that one on one time with your children and I think scott would definitely agree with that. I have felt bad lately because i have been picking up overtime and stuff and with my sleeping schedule the way it is from working nights there will be times when I go 3 days or more hardly getting to spend time with macie at all. So last night was an awesome chance to catch up and to just take that extra time to sit on the floor and play with her and cuddle with her and really focus on all the new things she is doing.

First we ate dinner, a chicken sandwhich for me and chicken and fruit for macie:) she loves that stuff. After dinner we had bathtime and splished and splahed forever it seemed like, poor macie had prune fingers by time we got done.

After bathtime we decided to get all comfy in our p.j.'s even though it was only 6:30 in the evening. Then came popsicle time which i keep thinking to myself still why did we do that after bathtime...oh well the funky popsicle chin stain is bound to go away sometime.

Then it was bedtime, for a few hours at least, that is until she woke up at 12:15 wanting to see her daddy come home from work. After all was said and done we got to bed around 2:30 in the morning. So as you can imagine after having a late night and getting up early for a softball game this morning our little macie is out like a light right now....

Today macie and i got up and went to scott's church softball tournament for a few hours. They didn't win but overall i think they all did a great job and really tried hard to do their best and work as a team....good job guys, and especially to daddy macie and i are proud of you!!!!

Well i need to go get some errands done and things packed for this weekend..
