Cheetos Monster!!!

Yesterday for dinner I grabbed a sandwhich and bag of chips from subway for dinner.
So as I was trying to eat my dinner macie kept trying to steal my cheetos out of my hands. She had never had cheetos before so I thought what the heck I will give her one and see how she does...I could not stop laughing for the longest time because not only did she love the cheetos but she was orange from head to toe after eating them. Needless to say we found a new finger food that we can take with us when we go places now, I guess we will just have to make sure we have a bib and extra outfit on hand also. Who needs the cookie monster when we have macie the chubby cheeked cheetos monster:)
Running crazy....

We had a good time and got lots of laughs out of our visit especially watching dina k try to dance. By time we got home it was after 11:30 so i got macie to bed and then cleaned the house up a bit and made dinner for scott since he had to work till 1:00 a.m. When it was all said and done we got to bed around 2:00 a.m. Man what a busy day. And that wasnt even the worst of it we wont get into the walmart issue oh dear it was a disaster...
Today hasnt been any slower thus far. Early this afternoon I ran steph some lunch since she is now onto solid foods:) which is definitely a good sign. Then i came home grabbed macie and ran back to the hospital for a few more hours. Macie has been so exhausted from such a busy weekend and past couple of days that when we were at the hospital today she was asleep hardcore for prolly and hour or so in the recliner:)

So we really havent done much but just alot of little stuff non stop for two days. Scott's interview with bucyrus seemed to have went well on monday he thinks so we will see what happens with that, but we are really praying that this will be it. The good thing is that they are wanting to hire someone on thursday so we will know either way by the end of this week which is a huge relief. Keep praying for us as we continue to be patience and wait for God's timing and choice when it comes to a job for us:)
Steph is going to be having a lot of visitors tonight so i think macie and i are going to stay home for the evening and relax and get some things done around the house. Its back to work for me tomorrow and thursday so we prolly wont put anymore updates on till the weekend:) Have a great rest of the week!!!

A weekend for family:)

Saturday...
Ok i know i kinda already posted for saturday but here is a little more of what went on since it was such a great weekend. Saturday afternoon macie and I went over to my
moms house for a few hours and went swimming. It was so much fun and i got to see some family that i dont get to see too often. My aunt jen, unlce kevin and cousins brad and derek were over there swimming also and so its was nice to spend time with them since they live out of town now and we dont get to see them too often. I took macie in the pool for about 15 minutes or so and at first she really liked it then after awhile she was done and wanted to get out.
So after sitting in the sun for a bit i decided to get back in and play with my cousins who are just little guys and man did they wear me out. We played marco, polo. Water tag and of course i had to toss them into the air a hundred times..but it sure did take me back to the days when my sisters and i would play in the pool for hours:) i miss those days sometimes. After we left there macie and I ran to walmart to pick up some last minute things for out of town. When we got home from the store it was about 4:15 and macie had been acting pretty irritable for about and hour or so and I thought it was just her teeth bothering her because they do that often. However, when i took off her sandal her pinky toe was bent completely sideways all red and swollen. So being the mom i am i freaked out and called scott at work in tears thinking i did something wrong and broke our babies toe. He rushed home from work and we took her to the E.R. The doc says it doesnt look broken just maybe irritated from the type of shoes they are so we are supposed to let her little tootsies air out for a few days and start her on antibiotics if it gets worse, but it seems almost completely fine now so i think she is going to be alright. I was telling scott how ironic it is that I can work at the hospital and take care of, and see all kinds of funky things but when it came to our baby i completely flipped out:)...haha, i guess that comes with the territory of being a mom. So needless to say after all was said and done we got to mt. vernon around 8:15 or so, ate some pizza, talked with cara for a bit and went to bed. Sunday....
What an awesome day today was. Scott, macie and I along with the cameron family and Birch family all went to Cornerstone Chapel for church to see brady and bethy dedicated today. I had so much fun and really enjoyed the service. I had never been to a four square church before and didnt really know what to expect but I honestly felt very moved and overjoyed during the service.
It was very upbeat and the message was very clear and to the point but so relevant to our everyday lives that I really felt I walked away this morning with things I will use and remember on a day to day basis. Some things that stand out in my mind were the people with the flags during the worship. At first i didnt know what to think but the more i got into the service the more I really understood the purpose of them. I think we all worship in different ways and its neat to see those differences. After the service we went to the roadhouse for lunch which was yummy. This also gave us time to sit down and enjoy each others company.
Now we just have some unpacking to get done and things to prepare for this week.
We are so proud of you kirk, and amanda for being such great parents and for truely leading brady and bethy in such a Godly example. I know you both try your hardest to be the best parents you possibly can and I admire all that you do, day in and day out and all that you put forth to raise such great kids. We are also blessed to be apart of your lives and to see brady and bethy grow and learn new things each day and to develop their own personalities that I am sure the world will be blown away by. We love you guys and want you to know we are here for you always, and look forward to many memories together:)
Last but not least, Scott has a job interview tomorrow morning that we ask all of your prayers for. Things havent worked out for us thus far in this area but we are trusting that God knows whats best for us. Its funny because sometimes when we have something big coming up such as a dr. appt. or a special event or what not i will jump ahead and read the devotional for that day and just compare it to what I may be feeling or thinking in those moments to come and last night i did this. I looked ahead in a devotional book to monday and couldnt help but read "Sometimes life demands that we weather a storm. At other times it puts us to the test of tedium. We may feel stuck. What we want most is just out of reach. Buth whether we find ourselves in a crisis of circumstance or in a place where the spiritual wind has been taken out of our sails, we need to trust God for guidance. The Lord, who is sovereign over changing circumstances, will eventually guide us to our desired haven." I shared this with scott and it really made us feel that although we have said over and over that we trust God with this situation I think sometimes we dont really stop and believe it, but we were reminded that God IS with us and He knows better than we do about what is right for our lives. All He asks of us is to trust Him and He will make a way.

Mommy and Macie's night in....
First we ate dinner, a chicken sandwhich for me and chicken and fruit for macie:) she loves that stuff. After dinner we had bathtime and splished and splahed forever it seemed like, poor macie had prune fingers by time we got done.
After bathtime we decided to get all comfy in our p.j.'s even though it was only 6:30 in the evening. Then came popsicle time which i keep thinking to myself still why did we do that after bathtime...oh well the funky popsicle chin stain is bound to go away sometime.

Then it was bedtime, for a few hours at least, that is until she woke up at 12:15 wanting to see her daddy come home from work. After all was said and done we got to bed around 2:30 in the morning. So as you can imagine after having a late night and getting up early for a softball game this morning our little macie is out like a light right now....

Today macie and i got up and went to scott's church softball tournament for a few hours. They didn't win but overall i think they all did a great job and really tried hard to do their best and work as a team....good job guys, and especially to daddy macie and i are proud of you!!!!
Well i need to go get some errands done and things packed for this weekend..

Time to play catch up!!

Last monday we took macie swimming in her kiddie pool we got for her and she loved it. At first she was a little timid but once she got in and started figuring things out she went nuts, splashing and giggling away. She is trying to crawl still...and loves to try and pull herself up on things now. She has heard the word no alot this week although she cries when she hears it i know she doesnt understand what it means because she will go back to doing the same thing 5 seconds later:) She is talking alot more and loves to say dada, and ma ma, with and occasional hi and bye in there.
Its funny because she says the funniest things at the weirdest times. Scott said when he took her to the grocery store last week as they were going down the bread aisle she kepts waving saying hi, hi. Kids, they wont say something when you want them to but they will say hi to bread 50 times in one night..haha. Those of you who know me well know how much i love to change my hair color. So two weeks ago i was brown with blonde highlights. Last week i was blonde and this week i am red....i mean red red. what do you think?

Well we have a busy weekend planned. Scott has a meeting in the morning for work and then a softball game at 10 a.m. Then he has to go back to work till 5 and then we are headed to mt. vernon for the evening. We are really looking forward to brady and bethy's dedication on sunday and will be traveling to medina for that. So hopefully we will have lots of pics to put on here next week of the kids.

Our First Father's Day Together

So i know its been awhile since we have updated but things are just so busy its hard to keep up sometimes, however we wanted to share our first father's day with everyone. I had to work all last weekend so i napped for a few hours sunday afternoon and scott had to work till 5. After scott got home from work we ate a nice dinner together and then macie gave daddy his gifts and a huge chocolate chip cookie that said happy father's day. He got some sandals, a few books, a beach towel, and a tool kit for the car, oh and we can't forget the card boomer got him also;) haha. After dinner we watched a movie and relaxed for the evening. Overall it was a great first father's day together and we look forward to many more in the future:)

Look at my pearly whites
Macie is now 9 and a half months old and has 5 teeth already....Some of her favorite foods include, applesauce, coconut pudding, apples and chicken, mixed veggies, gerber puffs, orange sherbet, and salt and vinegar chips. I know its seems kind of weird for a baby to like salt and vinegar chips but the doc says thats fine:) She is such a cutie and brushed her teeth like a big girl for the first time last night. Daddy did most of the work but of course macie wanted to try and help too.

I'm a big kid look what I can do!!

Wow
what a busy friday it has been here at the cameron household. Scott and Macie
slept in for a bit while i ran to the BMV to get our license plates so mr. policeman wouldnt pull us over this weekend when our tempory tags expire. When i got home scott and I decided to take macie to the park for the first time as a family...its really her second time going to the park because her aunt jenny took her a few weekends ago. Macie loved it!!! I think her favorite thing is swinging she just chuckles away and kicks her legs with excitment the whole time. We also took her on all the big kid toys and although she didnt rea
lly know what to do she just kept looking around in amazment taking it
all in. After that we came home for a bit and then ran to the bank and walmart. We got macie a walk n ride toy from grandma stone...........

she d
oesnt quite get the point of it yet but likes to play with all the little gadgets on it. We are hoping it will help her learn to walk and keep her balance better..and from what we have seen already today it seems to help..She fell on h
er butt a few times and didnt like that too much poor baby she was not too happy with the toy at that moment.....
but then when we put her on it so she could play with it like a riding toy she was all smiles again. She is pretty worn out now and is napping so scott and I are going to grab some dinner and get some things done around the house....thats all for now:) have a great weekend!!!!
Girls day out
Now for the bad part of the day. Everyone knows how open i am about pooping since thats half of the story of my life:) haha. So i had this bright idea to take immodium yesterday and then i wouldnt have to poop all the time when we were out of town. So needless to say i will never do that again...i didnt poop for like a day and a half and was so sick i was in bed by 8:30 last night. Let me tell you it was a rough one but now that i got that out of my system i feel great...:) on that note have a great day!!!!

God's promise
scott came home from running to the store and he told me there was a double rainbow outside....so i go outside and i couldnt believe my eyes, it was a huge beautiful rainbow. I have seen some rainbow's over the years but this one was amazing, it was so visible you could see the whole arch from one end to
the other. We knew that we couldnt let the moment get away without taking a few pictures of it...especially because its macie's first rainbow even though she had no clue what was going on....haha. Scott and I were talking about the significance of a rainbow tonight and we were both reminded of God's eternal covenant. Genesis 6:11-13 "Now the earth had become corrupt in God's sight, and it was filled with violence. God observed all this corruption in the world and he saw violence and depravity everywhere. So God said to Noah, "I have decided to destroy all living creatures for the earth is filled with violence because of them. Yes, I will wipe them all from the face of the earth!" God then instructed Noah to build a boat from special wood
and to be a certain size. When the time came God told Noah, Genesis 7:3-4 "Take along seven pairs of each animal that I have approved for eating and for sacrifice, and take one pair of each of the others. Then select seven pairs of every kind of bird. There must be a male and a female in each pair to ensure that every kind of living creature will survive the flood. One week from today I will begin forty days and forty nights of rain. And I will wipe from the earth all the living things I have created." After the flood the Lord was pleased with the sacrifice and said in Genesis 8: 22 "As long as the earth remains, there will be springtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, day and night." This is the covenant that we are reminded of when we see a rainbow that "When I send clouds over the earth, the rainbow will be seen in the clouds. It is the sign of my permanent promise to you and to all the earth that never again will there be a flood that will destroy all life," Genesis 9: 14-15
Poor macie was having such a rough nigth with her teeth...i definitely can't wait for teething to be over..haha. So vanessa was nice enough to make her a slushi and bring it over for her. She loved it and was all smiles afterwards, of course she was all green too:)

have a great night!!!!

Bouncing with joy!!

Picture (Left to right): Mary Jo-RN, Me-Nurse aide, Jaime-Nurse Aide, Candis-Nurse Tech, Dina-LPN
After we got home we got out macie's door bouncer which she has never gotten in before...man did she love it she just smiled and giggled away!!!!

Since the weather was so hot a few weekends ago i decided to go out and get an inflatable pool so that this summer macie and I could enjoy it during the day together and then daddy could get in it too at night and we could all play and cool off. Needless to say since i got it the weather hasnt been warm enough to actually get all the way in so hopefully we will be able to do that this week. Well scott and I are going to watch a movie now and relax for a bit. Its back to work tomorrow night for me but then i have like 5 days off in a row starting wednesday so that will be nice. I think we are going to mt. vernon for a few days to hang out and then who knows what else. We got some pictures done last week which we will be getting here in a few days so i will put some of them on here as soon as we get them...
We took macie to the dr. on friday for her 9 month check up and she is now 17lbs 12oz and is 28 inches long. The dr. said she looks great and seems to be doing very well for her age...we are proud of our little girl. Look at how big she is getting:

Well thats all for now, have a great week!!!!
