Pretty, Pretty Princess....

I can't stop smiling over what a great day its been today. Scott was out of town last night for Sports Blast with the youth group teens so he was exhausted this morning so macie and I went to columbus for the day while he got some much needed rest. We went to target and got some new dishes so we can maybe start having people over for dinner now that we have place settings for more than 5 people:) We also went to the polaris mall and ate at chic fil a, my very favorite. After that macie ran around and played her little heart out at the playland they have there. Its really nice but there are always tons and tons of kids there or "look mommy all of my friends" as she says. When i was sitting there watching her play a girl came up to me and told me about this new little girls salon that just opened called Sweet and Sassy. Because it was their grand opening weekend you could take your little girl and have them get their hair and nails done for free. So macie and I decided to try it out and see what it was like. As soon as we walked in her little eyes lit up. It was full of pink and purple decorations and sparkly jewlery and purses for little girls. Then macie got up in this big girl chair infront of this giant mirror and watched herself as she got her hair done up with glitter spray to top it off. After that they painted her nails pink and put a pink glitter star on both of her cheeks. She was grinning ear to ear the whole time. She of course had to take a walk down the "runway" they have to model her new do:) She told me time after time, "mommy i a princess" it made my day to just see her so happy and excited and to feel so beautiful. Now its not something i would do all the time because i dont want her turning into a 3 year old diva that needs her hair and nails done every month but i would love to take her and her cousin and a friend there for her birthday and let them get all made up just so they can feel the same way macie did today. Now i have to get some cleaning done before bed, which is definitely not fun...but i guess it can be fun all the time right.

Valentines Dinner

So because we have a busy weekend with youth activities at church and other things going on we decided to do our family Valenintes dinner tonight. I made scotts favorite meal, chicken enchiladas, rice and macie helped me bake red velvet cupcakes with pink and red sprinkles. Scott got me a purse that i love. Macie and I suprised him with a picture frame we made and in it we had pictures done of just the two of us. We also got him a cd that he really enjoyed. We had a nice dinner together and enjoyed being able to spend a few hours of quiet time just us. Macie is excited to take valentines to her friends tomorrow at the babysitters that she picked out and cookies with heart sprinkles too. Valentines day has been really special this year because macie was able to help with all the suprises and making cards for friends and family. I am so blessed with such an amazing husband and daugther whom i love more than anything!!!! Happy Valentines Day everyone:)

Quick Update

Just wanted to update everyone real quick about my doctors appt. last week. My biopsies from my surgery came back finally which showed i do have endometriosis. After talking to Dr. Huggins this is probably the culprit behind our infertility. I have been referred to Dr. Williams a fertility specialist in Columbus to talk about a procedure they often do for this type of infertility. We will know more details next tuesday the 17th after my appt. We are so thankful we finally have some answers and some direction with this whole thing. Thanks for all your prayers!!!!
