Its been awhile......

Oh my word I can't believe its been 11 months since we have updated this thing!!!! So much has happened there is no possible way I will be able to catch you all up on everything but let me try. Macie finished her first year of preschool at our church and loved every minute of it. Some of her favorite things throughout the year were pajama day, police day, mothers day and grandparents day. Macie also played soccer this spring for the recreational center in the city we live. She loves soccer but really had a blast this spring season playing on the same team as her cousin Bethany and having her uncle Kirk as her coach :) Macie is really enjoying summer break and being able to play outside with Cameron the neighbor boy.

Scott has had an extremely busy year. Between coaching soccer, basketball, softball, tutoring, worship band, and other ministries at church he is always running around like a chicken with his head cut off it seems:)Right now he is enjoying being home also for the summer but is diligently working on his masters degree.

Its been a crazy year for me to say the least!!!! I am currently staying home with Macie which keeps me super busy. In my spare time I have found a new passion for writing and reading and really look forward to it. I have had some health difficulties and had emergency surgery in February for a perforated bowel and then was hospitalized for a month at Riverside in June for complications due to the Crohns disease. I have begun a new treatment course which involves Remicade treatments and it is our hope that this medication will put the Crohns into remission and we can have a little bit of a normal life back very soon!!!! Thanks for all your prayers and support throughout this past year we couldnt have made it without you all. I hope I can keep this thing updated more often and will put pictures on very soon.
