So for the past couple of days macie hasnt been feeling very well....so at midnight last night we decided to give her a nice warm bubble bath to try and make her feel better. She loves taking baths with mommy she always laughs and giggles the whole time we are in there.
Well scott has to work till 5 today so macie and I are just going to hang out until he gets home and then try to get a few things done around the house and relax this evening. I have a feeling its going to be a busy week....but when isnt it:)
We are reminded of some very important things this week. Friday is Good Friday. A time for Christians to reflect on the crucifixion of Christ and the symbolism of His blood being shed for our sins...regardless of how terrible we may feel, Christ died on Good Friday so that we may die to ourselves and our sins and allow Him to live in us, being fully Alive and Free. On Sunday we will Celebrate the resurrection of Christ in which we are reminded that when He was crucified for our sins he didnt remain dead but 3 days later he arose and ascended into heaven declaring He is King!!!!! Praise the Lord that we have been saved. I often think about what pain Christ went through for you and I......At any given moment He could have said that He wasnt the King and it would have saved Him from the torture He had to face...but He didnt. He knew what God had instore and that it was all apart of a perfect plan so that we could be free and join Him in heaven someday to spend eternity in such beautiful awesomeness.....How amazing is that, and the best part is....that for all He went through for us all we have to do in return is give our heart to Him and declare that He is King and will be King over our lives everyday. It's not easy being a Christian at times and I will be the first person to admit that although I have been saved by the blood of Christ I'm not perfect. We still will face hardships and trials but the comforting thing is that we have Christ and His promises to cling to in those times and He will continue to give us the strength to persevere throughout whatever may come. I encourage whoever may see this to take a few moments and reflect on what Christ has done for You. He loves you so much and wants you more than you could ever want to be wanted!!!!!!
1 Corinthians 2:9 "No eye has seen, No ear has heard, No mind can imagine the plans that God has instore for those who love Him."
