Our Weekend!!!

Ok just to warn you this is a pretty long post but macie is just learning and doing so much new stuff everyday we want to make sure we share our excitment as she grows with the rest of our friends and family. Even though this stuff isnt too exciting i guess but it is for us;)

So its been lots of playtime for macie this weekend. she is really starting to interact more with her toys and us now which is so much fun. she likes sitting on the floor and playing with her stacking cups that her auntie jen got her for christmas, and of course chewing on the storage bins.

This weekend has been pretty boring but relaxing i must say so myself. Friday night we got fast food for dinner and watched the weatherman which i thought was a pretty good movie even though i felt bad for nicholas cage and how depressing his life was. Macie and I went for a walk in the evening also. We have been trying to go on walks about everyday for a couple of reasons. First macie loves going for walks and being in her stroller looking around at all the neat things going on outside. Also i am trying to get my booty in shape so i thought what a better way to keep her occupied and for me to work out kind of at the same time.

Saturday scott worked till 5 and macie and I layed around the house for the day. She is still not feeling that great, she is still congested and cutting teeth bad so we havent gotten much sleep the past couple of nights needless to say. After scott got home I went to mosaic while daddy and macie stayed home and rested.

Once i got home we ran to meijer and walmart for a few things and of course Macie had to get a new toy. She got a giggle elephant that we put on the floor with her and when you push its nose it starts bouncing around giggling and playing silly songs and making elephant noises, macie just loves it.

Macie also got a new disco ball today from her aunti bethany. We discovered that macie loves disco balls when she was about a month old and we were at ben and lindseys wedding dancing on the dance floor with her when we realized that she was mezmorised by all the colorful lights bouncing around. so we thought if we got her a disco ball and put it in her room at night maybe she would start going to bed a little easier since she doesnt want to cooperate at bedtime anymore and instead wants to play and cry and scream. i think its because of a week or so when she was sick we let her sleep with us and now she thinks everytime she whines we will come get her and put her to bed with mommy and daddy and that isnt happening. so we are hoping this disco ball will help her calm down at night and maybe fall asleep watching it in her room. who knows but i tell ya we are willing to try anything for sleep:) .

what am i going to do with all this junk, all this junk inside my trunk? my humps... my humps, my humps, my humps.......look at our dancing baby breaking it down with her disco ball!!!!
